Las Vegas Grand Prix has enhanced its official mobile app through the addition of PAM’s live wayfinding technology ahead of this year’s Formula 1 race.

The app offers customisable fan experiences for each ticket holder, providing them with digital maps to discover, find and enjoy the full range of events on offer.

PAM’s digital wayfinding technology enables easier navigation of the circuit and surrounding area. Interactive maps guide fans to entry points and grandstands tied to their ticket and accessibility needs, and directions can be updated in real-time based on trackside conditions to reduce congestion and improve amenity.

“The official F1 Las Vegas app will enhance our guest experience throughout the circuit and bring a whole new level of connectivity to the sport,” said Renee Wilm, chief executive of Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc.

“It was key to build a solution to give fans access to everything on offer in Las Vegas on race weekend. We’re excited to provide that to our guests alongside such outstanding partners in T-Mobile US, Yinzcam, and PAM.”

The app’s built-in 3D mapping and smart navigation is designed to allow for easy movement around all the experiences on offer during race weekend, including fan zones, entertainment, food and beverage, hotels and partner properties. PAM provides its technology to stadiums, cities and universities.

“We’ve enjoyed working closely with the team at Las Vegas Grand Prix to build the ultimate smart personalised navigation to help fans efficiently move around on race weekend, and enjoy all the amazing trackside activations there,” said Stephen Minning, chief executive and founder of PAM. “When guests can access everything comfortably and easily, their experiences in Las Vegas will become even more memorable.”
