Juventus has set a new record attendance for a match at the Allianz Stadium after 41,507 fans watched yesterday’s (Sunday’s) 1-1 draw with Inter Milan.

The attendance was 12 more than the 41,495 that watched Juventus host Inter on December 7, 2018.

The highest attendance for a European match at Allianz Stadium is 41,470, which was posted in November 2018 when Juventus hosted Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League.

Allianz Stadium opened in September 2011 and was initially known as Juventus Stadium until the financial services company took on naming rights in 2017.

The stadium replaced the much larger Stadio Delle Alpi as Juventus’ home ground. The stadium move coincided with a hugely successful period for Juventus, with the club winning Serie A every year from 2011-12 to 2019-20.

Allianz also sponsors Allianz Stadium in Sydney, Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena, OGC Nice’s Allianz Riviera, Minnesota United’s Allianz Field, Palmeiras’ Allianz Parque and Rapid Wien’s Allianz Stadion.
