The Baltimore Ravens NFL team has appointed catering company Levy as its official food, beverage and hospitality partner from next season.
Levy will be the exclusive concessionaire at M&T Bank Stadium, replacing Aramark. The Ravens announced earlier this month that it had selected a food and beverage hospitality partner to replace Aramark and the team has today (Thursday) confirmed a deal with Levy.
The Ravens launched a request for proposal process to secure a partner to lead food and beverage hospitality offerings at M&T Bank Stadium, and the team said that Levy stood out throughout the process. Levy has been chosen following a comprehensive evaluation of potential partners.
The Ravens are planning on reimagining the food and beverage experience at M&T Bank Stadium as part of a wider renovation of the venue. In December, the franchise unveiled plans for a $430m (£338.5m/€395.2m) redevelopment of M&T Bank Stadium as it seeks to retain the venue’s status as one of the best fan experiences in the NFL.
The three-year project, running from 2024 to 2026, will focus on enhancing the gameday and year-round fan experience. The stadium’s exterior plaza areas will undergo substantial development work, with every level of the venue to be renovated with the goal of completely transforming the stadium experience.
December’s announcement came after the Ravens extended a lease deal to continue playing at M&T Bank Stadium for at least the next 15 seasons, until 2037. The agreement includes two five-year options to extend the lease beyond 2037.
Commenting on the deal with Levy, Ravens president Sashi Brown said: “Levy is absolutely the right partner for the Ravens. They share our passion and commitment to delivering great food and amazing experiences for our fans.
“Food and beverage and hospitality has become such a core part of our fans’ gameday experience. Throughout the planning of our stadium renovations, we pushed ourselves to evolve every aspect of the fan experience and were heavily focused on our F&B programme.”
Andy Lansing, chief executive of Levy, added: “We’re incredibly proud to partner with the Baltimore Ravens to create an elevated game day experience for the Ravens Flock, one of the greatest fan bases in the league.
“Our focus is on bringing wonderful flavours and hospitality to M&T Bank Stadium in a way that celebrates cherished traditions with new and improved modern amenities. We’re looking forward to getting started.”
