US-based Stadium Golf Tour has stepped up its presence in the UK after announcing plans for events at Selhurst Park, King Power Stadium, Hillsborough and London Stadium.

Selhurst Park, home of Premier League football club Crystal Palace, will house a uniquely designed course from June 15-18, with the experience to offer players the chance to tee off from all four stands of the stadium, aiming for greens located on the pitch.

The stadium is one of five venues to be included on Stadium Golf Tour’s UK tour circuit. Last month, it was announced that London’s Twickenham Stadium will house a nine-hole course from June 8-11.

The Selhurst Park course will take players around 90 minutes to complete and features its own self-scoring system, ranging from eagle to double bogey. After completing the course, players can head to the ‘Clubhouse’, where they can take part in driving, putting and chipping challenges.

Hillsborough, home of League One club Sheffield Wednesday, will host an event from May 25-28, while Leicester City’s King Power Stadium will house a course from June 1-4 and West Ham United’s London Stadium will play host from October 12-15.

The Twickenham experience is expected to attract upwards of 7,000 golfers. The tee boxes at Twickenham will be situated on specially constructed platforms around the stadium bowl.

Stadium Golf Tour has detailed plans for the UK experiences after recently partnering with the Maverick Sports & Entertainment agency to expand its presence in the country. Tickets will start at £90 (€102/$112) per person.

US venues with a Stadium Golf Tour course include Arizona State University’s Sun Devil Stadium and Louisiana State University’s Tiger Stadium.
