Spanish LaLiga club Cádiz CF has launched a new hospitality division to widen the availability of the Nuevo Mirandilla on non-match days.
Cádiz CF Hospitality launched over the Christmas period with a new stadium tour and will now expand to cover company events and celebrations, weddings, exclusive breakfasts and more.
The club said the new division has been launched following the success that other clubs in Europe have had with similar models. Cádiz’s stadium tours will be priced at €12 (£10.28/$13.07) for adults and €8 for children.
The announcement marks Cádiz’s latest effort to diversify its offering around the Nuevo Mirandilla. In October, the club presented plans for Sportech City, a wide-ranging development that will include a year-round events centre and a 7,500-square-metre data centre.
The club is working with professional services firm KPMG on the project, which is designed to ensure its long-term future in the city of Cádiz.
The events centre would be capable of hosting events such as shows and conferences. Sportech City will also include a data centre, 35,300 square metres of space for technology, health and sport warehouses, a technological business incubator centre with 6,100 square metres of offices, and a user experience centre with 5,600 square metres of laboratories and prototype validation.
Cádiz president Manuel Vizcaíno has previously expressed his desire to build a new stadium for the club with a capacity of 30,000 to 35,000. The Nuevo Mirandilla has a capacity of 25,000 and opened in 1955.
Cádiz has played in LaLiga since the 2020-21 campaign and finished 14th last season. The club is currently 18th after 21 games of the 2023-24 season.
