The Dallas Cowboys NFL American football franchise is using an artificial intelligence-driven hologram of owner Jerry Jones as part of a new fan experience at AT&T Stadium. ‘Meet Jerry Jones – An Interactive Experience’ is available as part of the Owner’s Experience Tour or through a private group tour. The AI enables the hologram to answer spoken questions from the audience and have full-blown conversations. Check it out here.

Daktronics has unveiled Live Channel, a new solution that integrates with and controls digital media networks in stadiums and arenas. Live Channel is capable of delivering live game video, in-game statistics and advertisements to screens throughout a venue.

Sports data and technology provider Genius Sports has struck a new partnership with social media platform Snap to deliver immersive augmented reality fan experiences via Snapchat Lenses. The technology will debut at SoFi Stadium this Sunday for the LA Rams’ clash with the San Francisco 49ers and will include real-time game statistics, merchandise offerings and a 3D interactive map of the stadium, exclusively for Verizon 5G customers.

The New York Liberty Women’s NBA basketball league franchise collaborated with Xbox for the second consecutive season to create a custom gaming-inspired court for two of the team’s recent home games at Barclays Center. This year’s court design highlighted the ‘Starfield’ universe, pulling key art and elements from Bethesda Game Studios’ soon-to-launch space exploration game, including a unique glow-in-the-dark effect.

Virtual advertising provider uniqFEED will be deploying its technology on site at the Davis Cup tennis tie between Greece and Slovakia this weekend. The tie is taking place at the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens, which dates back to 330BC. Given its historic status, there are restrictions on physical advertising within the venue itself, making it ideal for virtual advertising, viewable via official broadcast coverage.
